December 2024 was the last month of the PDI-SSH funded project PURE3D. After four years of intensive research, development, and testing of the PURE3D infrastructure, we are proud to present the PURE3D infrastucture: https://editions.pure3d.eu/

During our final event in December, colleagues who participated in the development of PURE3D, including representatives from the KNAW Humanities Cluster-Digital Infrastructure and DANS, researchers from UvA and Open University, as well as new collaborators for the forthcoming phase of PURE3D, including TU Delft and Europeana, came together to celebrate the achievements of the project and provide feedback regarding the future directions of the infrastructure. During this event, participants also had the opportunity to test the infrastructure, consider its accessibility and mobile friendliness, and the elements that could be improved in future iterations.

The PURE3D infrastructure currently counts over 60 3D scholarly editions, has trained almost 100 3D authors, and delivered 36 conference presentations, workshops, and seminars. PURE3D has also published two reports, one whitepaper, two chapters in edited volumes, and two journal articles. You can find these under the outputs section of the website.
